Three numbers, one weekly figure, four rules

You know your three numbers to the euro, have logged a weekly figure for ten days, and keep four rules you wrote yourself, each with its trigger.

Ask someone what they pay for subscriptions each month and you get a number. In one survey the real figure was, on average, two and a half times higher. That is how it goes with almost everything that leaves the account: people know roughly, and roughly means wrong.

Ten days, five minutes each, no investment tips and no savings challenge. You add up three numbers, work out a weekly figure that hands you back a month a year, and build four rules that keep running on the days you cannot be bothered. Every day opens with a question you guess at first. Before you see the answer you say how sure you were, and over time you see how often "sure" is right. At the end it all fits on one page for the next thirty days. General information, not financial advice: every figure here is one you can work out yourself.
